The Emmys were last night in LA and was in a completely different form than we have ever seen before due to the pandemic currently going on in the world. The producers did a good job of making a show despite not having everyone together and I was really impressed.
Some stars made an appearance to present and they included essential workers to announce nominees and had cameras (and emmys on hand) for the nominees. That had to be painstakingly difficult especially relying heavily on technology.
Schitt’s Creek, Succession and Watchmen cleaned up nicely in a lot of the categories. HBO was the winner of the night. There were few surprises like Zendaya for Euphoria and Mark Ruffalo for I Know This Much Is True. Covid did not allow for an actual red carpet but we got some looks below:
