DVD Recommendation – End of Watch

Looking for something good to watch I recommend – End of Watch.  A lot of people didn’t get to see this movie at the theaters but I was very pleasantly surprised by this buddy cop movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena (who you might recognise from Crash). The two of them had great chemistry and made their friendship onscreen very believable despite coming from different worlds (one is white and the other latino). It was well done, well shot and flowed seamlessy. My one criticism was with the Mexican gang that played a huge part in the crux of the movie, the leading lady in the group seemed to be over the top but hey who knows, maybe that’s how it really is. It had a somewhat predictable ending but overall very enjoyable and was one of my favorite movies of 2012.

Let me know what you think if you do or if you have watched it. Enjoy!
