Day 5
The last time I watched Spiderman, Tobey Maguire was in that role and I never watched Andrew Garfield in the role so yea, it’s been a minute. I always had the intention to watch Tom Holland in the role because I heard nothing but good things and I enjoyed him in the Avengers movies. But time passed and I looked up and a third movie was coming out and I still hadn’t seen him in any, so I decided to rectify it.
I enjoyed this. Tom Holland really is good casting because he plays earnest, deer eyed teenager so well. You just want to hug him and keep him safe. His crush on MJ is cute. Not completely sold on Zendaya as MJ but she does enough. My fave, Jake Gyllenhaal as villain, Mysterio was great and of course Samuel L Jackson always delivers as Nick Fury. How amazing did Marisa Tomei look?
I like that it wasn’t complicated. I understood it even though I hadn’t watched the previous movie. I am looking forward to watching No Way Home now.
