It seems like lately, the Housewives franchise is the place to find defendants who are awaiting trials. The latest happens to be Jen Shah from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And just like with her predecessor, Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Hulu took it upon themselves to do a documentary on her accusations.
One of the fun things about these documentaries for me, are the commentators. With Erika’s, they had one of the most notorious cast members from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle and it was a case of what? who? how? What exactly is her connection and why is she speaking on it? Someone who made it on both documentaries is Dana Wilkey, who had a very brief stint on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is a podcaster now and I guess…full time commentator on all things Housewives, whether she knows them or not.
This was a fun watch and I chuckled when I saw her aunt was one of the commentators. Gotta throw one person in there to give good PR. Koa Johnson, the designer who Shah famously assaulted while it was secretly taped, is featured also and he was so soft spoken and calm, that it was almost eerie.
It went by quick but I think it’s something that would be easily enjoyed, whether or not you watch The Housewives.
