Golden Globes 2022: Event scaled back but not as result of boycott, suggests Hollywood Foreign Press Association president | Ents & Arts News | Sky News

The Golden Globes took place today with no fanfare. For the first time since I started watching (well besides during the writer’s strike in 2007), it was not televised and this made me sad. Award show season is such a happy time for me but I also think of people who this may be their first or only shot at getting recognition by their peers like the girls from West Side Story and I really would have liked to hear Will Smith’s speech for King Richard and MJ Rodriguez for Pose!

P.S Really surprised Sarah Snook got the win for Succession over Hannah Waddingham in Ted Lasso.
